Twenty-seven Capes of Accomplishment over thirty master NPCs at 99,000 coins
with the hood, and almost all of it is stated by the cache rather than
sourced: the ids in triples from 9747, the price on each item's own field,
the emote list and its labels from enums 1000 and 1001, and the emote pairing
from frame archive 1290 -- the skillcape rig, exactly twenty-five sequences
and nothing else -- with each cape's graphic derived from the spot anim whose
own sequence is the emote's id plus one.
Trimming is a count rather than an upgrade. Two base 99s, and because that is
a fact about the player rather than about the item it is retroactive: an
untrimmed cape is a receipt for having exactly one 99, so retrim/1 sweeps the
backpack, the worn slots and the bank on the level-up that reaches 99 and
again at login, and re-dresses the player when a worn cape changes.
The emote tab (216) was never wired. Skill Cape is slot 42 in this cache
where a modern reference says 43, so a lifted table would have played Air
Guitar on every skillcape click; CC_SETOP sets no mask, so the rows needed
if_setevents over 216:1, sent once as the player is seated. Its unlock is the
cache's own rule and not a varbit -- script 702 walks enum 681 and answers
unlocked at any base 99 -- so Contract.Emote asks the same question.
Three masters had no body in this world and are spawned here: Hickton, the
Robe Store owner and the Estate agent. Aubury looked like a fourth and is
not, because a fixture comes from two tables and only one of them is called
spawns -- shops.exs already stands him on the tile a wiki page was read to
invent for him.
The quest point and achievement diary capes are refused by name: the first
wants a quest system and the second wants diaries, and this world has
neither. That drove the gate order -- the requirement is asked before the
stock, because the diary cape is both refused by name and carries no
untrimmed id in this cache, and asking the stock first answered the table's
problem instead of the player's.
Five of the live wiki's sellers needed correcting for this era. Three are
later renames this cache does not carry at all -- the Melee combat tutor,
the Woodsman tutor and the Robe Store owner stand where Harlan, Wilfred and
Wizard Sinina are named -- and a modern id table resolves two of those names
to ids this cache gives the Lumbridge tutors.
No live sitting yet: the if_setevents range, the master dialogue and the
emote masks are unwatched.
